Electri-Flex Liquatite® Food Grade Flexible Conduit
Liquatite® Food Grade electrical conduits provide a flexible, liquidtight protective wiring raceway, ideally suited for Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Bottling Equipment, Healthcare, and Clean Room installations. Electri-Flex offers four varieties of Food Grade flexible electrical conduits ideally suited for Food Processing installations, and these include Types LAFG, LSSFG, NMFG, and now LNMP-Food Grade. Types LAFG, and LSSFG are jacketed metallic varieties, while Type NMFG, and LNMP are nonmetallic varieties of flexible conduit.

Types LAFG, LNMP-Food Grade, and LSSFG
Types LAFG, LNMP-Food Grade, and LSSFG feature improved antimicrobial PVC jacketing with the added benefits of a food-processing blue jacketing color and a wider temperature range.
Antimicrobial: Types LAFG, LNMP-Food Grade, and LSSFG exhibit antimicrobial properties, while NMFG does not promote bacteria growth. The antimicrobial feature involves a biocide additive that inhibits the growth of common food processing microbes such as E-coli, listeria, and salmonella. It even demonstrates a reduction in these microbes over a 24-hour period.
Blue Jacketing Benefits: The use of Food Processing blue is rapidly growing due to its increased safety features. The blue color, not naturally found in food products, allows for quick detection in fast-moving machinery in the rare event that fragments break off and enter the product stream.
Wider Temperature Range: LAFG, LNMP-Food Grade, and LSSFG offer a broader temperature range, spanning from -37°C to 105°C. These temperatures are crucial considerations for installations near freezers, heat-producing food equipment, or those subjected to consistently hot washdowns.
