STEINER PROJECT PROFILES
INCREASE STANDBY GENERATOR CAPACITY
A 200,000 sq. ft. distribution center was upgrading their existing generator from a 135kW to a 500kW unit. The existing switchboard was modified to allow for an upgraded automatic transfer scheme. The Steiner Gear Team, along with Steiner Power Systems, coordinated the start-up and load bank testing for the new equipment.
PLANT RENOVATION COORDINATION WITH LOCAL UTILITY
An industrial customer was renovating a 300,000 sq. ft. plant. The Steiner Gear Team offered design/build assistance to the installing contractor for a new 3000A service switchboard. We coordinated with the local utility to provide proper power to the facility. Multiple plant locations of this customer’s will soon allow for replication of the Steiner solutions.
