    A: No, the M18™ FORCE LOGIC™ Single Channel Strut Shear cannot cut Stainless Steel Strut.

    Q: Can the M18™ FORCE LOGIC™ Single Channel Strut Shear cut Back-to-Back or Double Strut?
    A: No, the M18™ FORCE LOGIC™ Single Channel Strut Shear can only shear single channel sizes of 1-5/8”, 13/16” and 7/8” Strut.

    Q: What should I do if the moving Die stays in the extended position and doesn’t return to the home position after a shear?
    A: Gently tap or hit the moving die with a hammer or striking device to get it to return to the home position. Once the die has returned to the home position, pull the Die Retention arm out and slide the moving die out of the channel. Clean the channel of any debris or coating remnants with a towel or cloth. Use the Milwaukee Type E-Grease (49-08-4122) or other moly-based lubricant to re-grease the top and bottom of the die as well as the top and bottom of the channel.

    A: This M18™ FORCE LOGIC™ Single Channel Strut Shear is compatible with only the Milwaukee Strut Shearing Dies. Other competitive dies will not fit into the tool.

    A: No. To prevent misuse of this tool as a rented product, this tool will only be repaired.

    Q: What if I can’t get the strut into the dies?
    A: Strut often can get damaged in transport and then ends are slightly bent in or out causing a mis-match with the dies. 9 times out of 10, flipping over the stick to the other end and it will fit into the dies. In some instances, users will use pliers to manipulate the strut to fit into the dies.
