Bearings protected by a combination steel shield and neoprene seal. Point is high-carbon alloy steel heat treated to Rc 61 - 63. Included point angle is 60 °s;+15'/-0. Bearings permanently lubricated. Reduced knockout diameter prevents taper from mushrooming. Low profile head for tool clearance.
