Fasteners for automotive wire harnesses shall providefifty pounds of pull-out force with no more than 45deg maximum rotation of the installed bundle. When installedin the panel, the fastening method shall firmly retain aminimum wire gauge of 12 AWG within +/- 10mm (.394")of the initial installation point. The mounts shall requireno more than 14 pounds of insertion force. Mounts withwider cable tie slot capability may have a proportionatelyhigher insertion and pull-out capability. Mounts shall beself-tensioning to prevent rattles and degradation of themount over the life of the vehicle. The material for themounts and the cable ties shall be heat stabilized Nylon6.6, black. Application temperature range shall be -60to 115 deg C (-76 to 239 deg F).
